Automatically mark an accepted invoice as paid

Why does the “awaiting payment” status exist?

Section titled “Why does the “awaiting payment” status exist?”

On Tayo, a property manager can accept your invoice — but accepting it does not mean they have transferred the money. That is why an accepted invoice stays awaiting payment until you confirm that you have received it.

Can accepted invoices be marked paid automatically?

Section titled “Can accepted invoices be marked paid automatically?”

Yes. It is an optional Plus setting, off by default.

Once it is on, as soon as the property manager accepts the invoice TAYO.pro marks it paid (unverified) and moves the project to done. “Unverified” means you can still confirm the actual payment later.

The module is switched on under Settings → Application.

Two typical situations:

  • You do not use our invoice reminders, and you treat an invoice the property manager accepted as an invoice that is paid.
  • You do not track incoming payments in TAYO.pro and would rather have projects move straight to “done” once the invoice is accepted.

If you do track payments here, leave the setting off: your invoices will stay “awaiting payment” until you confirm them.
