The project Drive

The Drive is a project’s file space. Site photos, plans, delivery notes, notes: everything stays attached to the project rather than lost in your phone or your inbox.

  • Before and after photos — your best evidence if the work is disputed.
  • Plans or drawings sent by the management.
  • Delivery notes or supplier invoices tied to the job.

Drive files are not shared with your clients, and for now there is no way to share them from the Drive.

In other words: put whatever you want in there, including your cost notes or rework photos. Nobody outside your team will see them.

If you need to send a document to a client, use the quote or invoice, which carry their own attachment.

Six months later, when someone disputes a job, you find the photo in ten seconds instead of digging through your phone.

It is also what lets a colleague pick up a job without having to call you.
