The complementary quote

A complementary quote comes afterwards: following a quote that has already been accepted, or a project that has already been invoiced.

It is generally an additional proposal that is not blocking for the existing order and quote — those carry on as normal, whether the complementary one is accepted or not.

From the project, use the complementary quote action. TAYO.pro carries over the client, the site and the contacts, and pre-fills the description:

Complementary quote — following order 1983

All you add is the amount and your PDF.

Because it has already been accepted. Editing it after the fact muddies the tracking: the property manager approved an amount, and it has to stay as it is.

A complementary quote keeps both amounts separate and traceable. If it is discussed later, it is clear what was planned and what was added.

The same principle exists for invoices: a complementary invoice is created the same way, with the same pre-filled description.
