Quote variants
A variant is another proposal for the same work. The client picks.
For a bathroom, say:
- variant A — full renovation;
- variant B — keep the bath, redo the rest;
- variant C — the minimum, repair only.
Why it works
Section titled “Why it works”A single quote invites a yes or a no. Several variants change the question: instead of “should I have this work done?”, the client asks “which one do I take?”.
It is also an honest way to present a high price: the expensive variant looks reasonable next to a minimal one that only half solves the problem.
How to do it
Section titled “How to do it”Add a variant to the quote from the project. Each variant has its own amount and its own PDF.
The project shows how many variants are attached.
The tip
Section titled “The tip”Name them clearly — “Full renovation”, “Without the bath” — rather than “Variant 1” and “Variant 2”, which help nobody decide.
