Request types
Every project in TAYO.pro is one of these four types. Two arrive from elsewhere, two you create yourself.
What arrives from the property manager
Section titled “What arrives from the property manager”Work order — the property manager is ordering the work. It is approved, you can go ahead. You invoice at the end.
Quote request — the property manager wants the price first. You send a quote, and the work only starts once it is accepted.
What you create yourself
Section titled “What you create yourself”Spontaneous quote — you propose work nobody asked for. For example, you are on site for a leak and notice a radiator that needs replacing.
Spontaneous invoice — you invoice directly, with no work order behind it. For a small job, a call-out, a client who knows you.
Both also work for clients who are not on Tayo: see Working with clients outside Tayo.
A useful shortcut
Section titled “A useful shortcut”From an existing project you can create a pre-filled spontaneous quote or invoice with the same client and site. You re-enter neither the address nor the contact.
A new order is created; the old one is untouched.
